Computer Systems Technology

(Two year program for students in grades 11 & 12 - 3 high school credits for first year / 4 high school credits second year.)  This is a dual enrollment program with New River Community College (ITN 107 - Personal Computer Hardware & Troubleshooting for 4 credits and ITN 106 - Microcomputer Operating Systems for 4 credits).  Students learn to construct, troubleshoot, service, and repair computer systems, related components and software, and install and maintain local area networks.  Completion of this program prepares students for the A+ certification exam. Students are also offered ITN 101-Introduction to Network Concepts. This is a 4 credit hour dual enrolled NRCC class that prepares students for the Network + Certification.
