Welcome to the Tech Center

The 2017-18 school year promises to be an exciting year at the Giles County Technology Center. Last year the students and faculty at the Tech Center hosted SkillsUSA District 7 competition, completed the largest number of certification exams and dual enrollment credits in the school’s history, competed in SkillsUSA and HOSA state and national competitions, and gave back to the community through Habitat for Humanity.

Along with competitions and daily course work, students played an active role in their community by donating time and skills acquired through their CTE programs on community projects. The third Habitat for Humanity house was framed and plumbing/electrical wiring installed during the year. We look forward to working with Habitat on the next house project. Our students gain real life experiences while assisting a community organization.

Everyone at the Tech Center is extremely proud of our graduates and we know that many of you attended this school. We are fortunate to be able to educate the students of Giles County in up to date facilities. If you have any questions or if we can be of any help to you please call us at (540) 921-1166 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
